Photovoltaics, 1.2 billion euros coming to boost plants up to 1 MW

The Italian government allocates €1.2 billion to promote small photovoltaic plants under 1 MW through the FerX support mechanism. This funding allows for direct access to incentives without auctions, benefiting investments up to 40%. The initiative aims to enhance renewable energy adoption and is linked to a total capacity of 3 gigawatts. Implementation details will be defined by the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security within 120 days, with part of the funding sourced from utility bills.
