France recalls millions of condoms due to risk of tearing and they are also sold here.

French authorities have suspended the import and sale of ultra-thin condoms from Malaysian company Richter Rubber Technology due to manufacturing defects that may cause tearing. A total of 7 million condoms are being recalled, some of which were intended for the European market, including sales in other countries. The DGCCRF advises users to get tested for sexually transmitted infections and recommends pregnancy tests for women with missed periods. The sales suspension lasts for a year but may be extended. These condoms are also available in the Netherlands through online pharmacies, but responses from health authorities are pending.
