France recalls more condoms due to risk of tearing
Approximately seven million condoms for the European market are affected by a production issue, leading to quality concerns. The French authorities have suspended all brands produced under this faulty process due to risks of sexually transmitted infections and unwanted pregnancies. Users are advised to get tested for STIs and pregnancy. Previously, 260,000 condoms were recalled for similar reasons. Eight users reported tearing incidents, prompting further action. The situation in the Netherlands remains unclear, with health inspectors monitoring developments but no recall or sales halt initiated yet.
