French presidential race largely unaffected by unrest, first post-riot poll shows

A recent poll indicates that voter intentions for the upcoming presidential election in France remain largely unchanged despite recent violence. Expectations that far-right candidate Marine Le Pen would gain support from the unrest were not reflected in the survey results. Similarly, far-left candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon, accused by the government of inciting violence, also saw no significant shift in voter support, despite his denials of such claims.
