Strong deployment of the Mossos in the center of Barcelona in anticipation of disturbances

Starting at 3 PM, police have set up identification filters in key areas, including Plaza Catalunya and major metro stations. The police presence aims to detect individuals carrying dangerous items or with restraining orders against gatherings. A level 4 alert has been activated, the highest for public disorder, due to previous riots that resulted in numerous arrests. While shops remain open, many are taking precautions, with some considering closing early.
