László Gajdos: The Iváncsa battery factory has been blacklisted

The Iváncsa battery factory has been blacklisted and fined 100 million HUF for environmental violations, including groundwater contamination. The company, SK On Hungary Kft., is required to cease operations of polluting pipelines and develop a remediation plan. This blacklisting means the factory will not receive any state support for two years. The minister emphasized the importance of compliance with environmental regulations, stating that polluters must pay. Additionally, the factory faced a previous fine for endangering the health of its workers.
