Garages are getting busy: APKs of 416,000 cars expire in November

At the end of September, over 529,000 cars were waiting for an APK inspection in November, with 116,000 already completed. The number of vehicles with expired inspections has increased, reaching nearly 239,000 by October 22. Among these, over 84,000 cars have been overdue for more than a year. Owners of vehicles that are not inspected risk fines, and those driving without a valid APK face a €190 penalty. Many of the overdue cars are old or hobby vehicles that owners are reluctant to invest in. Alternatives include selling or suspending these vehicles to avoid fines.
