Guests should no longer remove sheets from the bed: Airbnb adjusts house rules

Airbnb introduces new rules prohibiting unreasonable demands from hosts, including household chores and restrictions on amenities. Starting November 20, guests will no longer be required to strip beds or dispose of trash outside. The platform aims to enhance guest experiences and ratings by enforcing stricter cleaning policies. Hosts can still add requests, which Airbnb will evaluate for reasonableness based on accommodation type and local factors. Restrictions on the use of listed amenities, such as air conditioning, are also banned.
