"The General has received a worthy place". New monument in Warsaw

A ceremony commemorating General Tadeusz Jordan Rozwadowski took place, marking the establishment of the Polish General Staff on October 25, 1918. Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized the importance of recognizing Rozwadowski's contributions during the Polish-Bolshevik War and his strategic role in the Battle of Warsaw. He noted that Rozwadowski's achievements were often overlooked, particularly after the May Coup in 1926. A letter from President Karol Nawrocki praised Rozwadowski as a brilliant strategist who helped save Europe from Bolshevism. General Kukuła highlighted Rozwadowski's military expertise and his commitment to the Polish state, despite facing imprisonment for his loyalty during the coup. The ceremony included the unveiling of a monument to honor Rozwadowski, whose burial site remains unknown.
