Genk invests 500,000 euros in new meeting place for Kolderbos

Genk is investing 500,000 euros in a new community space in Kolderbos to enhance social interactions among residents. The project includes a covered area with a long table and bench near the existing sports facilities. The aim is to create a welcoming environment for gatherings, picnics, and local events, fostering community connections. Additionally, a new neighborhood board will provide information on local activities and allow residents to share their ideas. The project is further supported by 400,000 euros from the Flemish government through urban policy initiatives.
