Glapiński takes over the departments. NBP with a changed structure

The current management of the National Bank of Poland (NBP) consists of six members, the minimum required by law. If the vacancy left by Adam Lipiński is not filled, the number of board members will fall below the legal threshold. President Karol Nawrocki has submitted proposals for the appointment of three current Monetary Policy Council members and a former vice president to the NBP board. The law stipulates that the board must include a president and six to eight members, with terms lasting six years. Appointments require the president's proposal and the prime minister's countersignature, except for certain cases. The current board members' terms vary, with some expiring as late as 2029.
