GNR alerted to scheme of false visits in Alentejo

The intermunicipal company Águas do Alto Alentejo (AAA) has warned customers about fraudulent calls for scheduling fake water analysis visits. The company reported this issue to the GNR. AAA clarified that they only conduct water analyses at customers' homes following a formal complaint. Quality control is performed by identified technicians. Customers are advised not to allow unknown individuals into their homes and to verify any such visits with AAA. If contacted, they should immediately inform the GNR. AAA serves 10 municipalities in the Portalegre district.
