GNR seizes Kalashnikovs, bundles of hashish, and fuel

The GNR conducted a major operation against drug trafficking, seizing Kalashnikov rifles, hashish bales, and fuel across Portugal. The operation led to the arrest of a 41-year-old man and the identification of another suspect and a minor. A total of two Kalashnikovs, nine vehicles, and approximately 10,000 liters of fuel were confiscated. The GNR aimed to disrupt logistical support for maritime drug transport. In collaboration with Spanish authorities, they seized hashish bales in the Guadiana River area. The operation involved multiple locations, preventing the establishment of drug trafficking support points.
