GNR detained two people in Coimbra for mutual assaults

Two individuals, a 50-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman, were arrested in Coimbra for mutual aggression in a domestic violence case. The GNR reported that upon arrival, officers found a complex situation with both parties attacking each other. The intervention led to the seizure of a firearm, 60 rounds of ammunition, and a large knife. Following their arrest, both were presented in court; the woman was released after proceedings, while the man remains in custody awaiting further legal measures. The GNR emphasized that domestic violence is a public crime and encourages collective responsibility in reporting it.
