Government guarantees continuity of the Cuida-te program until 2029

The Portuguese government has committed to continuing the Cuida-te program until 2029, investing 10 million euros to promote youth health and well-being. Minister Margarida Balseiro Lopes announced that the program, which includes psychology and nutrition vouchers, has already served over 24,000 young people. The initiative aims to provide better conditions for youth to build their lives in Portugal, alongside measures like the IRS Jovem tax reduction and housing support. The government also highlighted the importance of these programs in ensuring youth autonomy beyond fiscal and housing measures.
