Australian GP canceled due to bad weather
The Australian MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 races were canceled due to poor weather conditions affecting medical helicopter visibility. Despite attempts to proceed, safety concerns led to the final decision. Marc Márquez expressed readiness to race, but the absence of the helicopter was a significant issue. This cancellation marks the last MotoGP event at Phillip Island before the Grand Prix moves to Adelaide in 2027. A tribute lap for fans was organized, and Márquez retains his championship lead with 365 points, ahead of Jorge Martín and Marco Bezzecchi. The championship continues next weekend in Malaysia.
