Strike of ULS Amadora-Sintra technicians with strong participation

The strike by diagnostic and therapeutic technicians at ULS Amadora-Sintra has seen high participation rates, reaching up to 100% in some services. The union demands the application of the Collective Labor Agreement (ACT) for these technicians, who currently lack equal conditions compared to their counterparts in other public health entities. The union leader, Luís Dupont, emphasized that while minimum services are being maintained, the situation reflects ongoing inequalities in career progression and salary. A concentration is taking place outside the Ministry of Health, where over 100 workers are expected to demand a concrete response regarding the ACT and career reconstitution. The union warns of growing discontent among workers, leading to potential job searches elsewhere.
