Groups of minors were deliberately aiming for unrest and violence, says Walibi

Walibi amusement park reported that disturbances during the Fright Nights were caused by youths intentionally seeking to create unrest. Fights broke out among groups of young people, leading to property damage. The mobile unit was deployed to restore order, but no arrests were made. Walibi stated that those involved were escorted out by police. Despite implementing new safety measures this year to prevent such incidents, similar disturbances occurred last year. The park noted that many of the troublemakers were minors provoking crowds, a trend seen in other parts of Europe. The Fright Nights event, which attracts thousands, continued as planned despite the incidents.
