Large fire at Hitler's Eagle's Nest, police arrest suspect

A fire broke out at the Kehlsteinhaus, also known as the 'Eagle's Nest', in southeastern Germany, leading to police suspecting arson. Emergency services responded late Friday evening, finding the building engulfed in flames. Firefighting efforts were challenging due to the mountainous location, involving nearly 200 firefighters. Fortunately, no one was inside at the time, and no injuries have been reported. The Kehlsteinhaus, located at over 1,800 meters in the Alps near Berchtesgaden, served as a retreat for Hitler and is now a tourist attraction and restaurant since 1952.
