Large raging fire in Adelaarsnest, former tea house of Adolf Hitler

A large fire has broken out at the Eagle's Nest, Adolf Hitler's former tea house in southern Germany. The building, located at 1834 meters on the Kehlstein mountain near Berchtesgaden, was already ablaze when firefighters arrived at 21:52. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and a suspect has been detained, though their connection to the fire is unclear. Approximately 200 emergency responders are working to extinguish the flames, with no reported injuries. The Eagle's Nest, built in 1938 for diplomatic guests, offers panoramic views of the Alps and Salzburg. Contrary to popular belief, it was not a gift for Hitler's 50th birthday and was rarely visited by him, mainly used by his close associates. The site survived WWII bombings and now houses a restaurant and exhibition, remaining a popular tourist destination.
