Large raging fire in former 'Eagle's Nest', former tea house of Hitler
On Friday evening, a significant fire broke out at the Kehlsteinhaus, also known as the Eagle's Nest, prompting a response from over two hundred firefighters and emergency services. By the time they arrived, the building was already engulfed in flames. The German police have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire and have detained a suspect linked to the incident, although the motive remains unclear. The Kehlsteinhaus, built in 1938 by Adolf Hitler as a retreat, is located in the Bavarian Alps and was later designated as a historical monument by the Bavarian government after the war.
