Group Jansen from Zonhoven files for bankruptcy for 2 subsidiaries: 48 jobs will disappear
Group Jansen from Zonhoven is cutting around 50 jobs due to the bankruptcy of two unprofitable subsidiaries. The companies affected are Jansen Cleanrooms & Labs and Jansen Products, resulting in 48 job losses. This follows the closure of a foreign subsidiary in September, which also eliminated over 50 positions. The company aims to focus on profitable sectors such as construction, interior design, and maintenance. CEO Tom Lambert stated that the decision to close loss-making entities will strengthen the remaining profitable operations. Following these changes, Group Jansen's workforce will decrease from over 500 to approximately 400 employees.
