Pestana Group appoints former Secretary of State for Tourism

Rita Marques, former Secretary of State for Tourism, joins Pestana Group's executive committee, overseeing IT and marketing. Previously, she led Lello Foundation and was a director at Porto Business School. Her appointment follows a controversial attempt to manage a cultural project after her government tenure. Alongside her, Helena Soares de Moura also joins the committee, focusing on HR and communications. Pestana Group, Portugal's largest hotel chain, operates in 17 countries and collaborates with Cristiano Ronaldo on CR7 Lifestyle Hotels.
