The NMHH is investigating incitement to hatred because, before the elections, the frontman of Kárpátia referred to Tisza supporters as slag material on Kossuth Radio.
The National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) is investigating Kárpátia's frontman, János Petrás, for hate speech following his comments on Kossuth Radio. During an interview on April 7, he referred to Tisza sympathizers as 'nationally colored slag material.' The NMHH had already initiated proceedings against Duna Médiaszolgáltató for violating human dignity and exclusionary behavior. Additionally, the Hír FM Paláver program is under scrutiny for a caller's derogatory remarks about the Prime Minister, which the host failed to reject. The NMHH is also looking into another incident where the host did not disconnect a caller who made violent threats against a public figure, leading to the host's dismissal for serious professional misconduct.
