A new committee will be established to address the situation of infants stranded in the hospital under the leadership of Szilvia Gyurkó.

A Hungarian government resolution has established a professional advisory and coordination body to review the situation of infants and young children stranded in hospitals. The body will assess the need for legal amendments, propose a hospital child protection volunteer program, and facilitate the swift placement of children into family or substitute care. It will also develop protocols to ensure children continue necessary developmental and rehabilitation services during hospital stays. Additionally, a new daycare service named "Pöttömke Bölcsőde" will be created for daytime care of these children. The body, chaired by the Deputy State Secretary for Child Rights and Child Protection, will meet quarterly and present its initial assessment within sixty days.
