Housing. Opposition imposed urgent debate proposed by Livre against Aguiar-Branco's decision
The parliamentary opposition demanded an urgent debate on the housing crisis after Aguiar-Branco rejected two requests from the Livre party. The request was made at the start of parliamentary proceedings, following the president's decision that the previous requests did not comply with rules. Various parties, including PS, Chega, IL, and others, supported the debate, while PSD and CDS-PP opposed it. Aguiar-Branco emphasized the importance of adhering to parliamentary rules and warned about the precedent set by this decision.
