Hackers disable cooling systems of dozens of Belgian Delhaize stores
Delhaize has confirmed that cooling systems in multiple stores have been affected, with at least forty locations reporting issues. Reports indicate that temperatures in these systems may have risen significantly. Swedish media also mention a potential cyberattack impacting cooling systems at ICA stores. This follows a similar incident in France where hundreds of supermarkets experienced overheating due to a cyberattack. Ahold Delhaize, the parent company of Delhaize, faced a cyber incident in October that disrupted several systems and affected supply chains.
