Hackers take down cooling systems of dozens of European supermarkets

Delhaize has confirmed that multiple stores are affected by a cooling system incident, with at least forty locations impacted in Belgium. The temperature in these systems has reportedly risen to 70 degrees Celsius. Other retailers, including De Laet & Van Haver and Carrefour, have also reported similar issues. Additionally, Swedish media indicate a possible cyberattack affecting ICA stores, where temperatures reached 50 degrees. This follows a previous cyber incident in France that disrupted cooling systems in hundreds of supermarkets, including Ahold Delhaize's operations.
