Hadházy published a photo suggesting that Gruevski is still in Hungary
Former Hungarian MP Ákos Hadházy shared photos of Nikola Gruevski, the ex-Prime Minister of North Macedonia, who fled to Hungary in 2018 after being convicted. Hadházy claims the images were taken in a Budapest restaurant and suggests that the new government should revoke Gruevski's political asylum to facilitate accountability in North Macedonia. He emphasizes the importance of taking accountability seriously, noting that Gruevski's associates are still in power in North Macedonia. Gruevski served as Prime Minister from 2006 to 2016 and was sentenced to two years in prison for abuse of office before fleeing. In 2022, he received Hungarian citizenship for "Hungarian state interests."
