Hackers struck supermarkets in Europe. Problems also at Polish Auchan
Retailers in several European countries reported issues with refrigeration systems, likely due to cyberattacks. Affected countries include Belgium, Estonia, Ireland, Finland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Sweden. Similar incidents occurred in France last month, impacting around 700 supermarkets and causing significant food loss. In Ireland, the Musgrave group reported failures in 13 SuperValu stores, while Sweden's ICA network confirmed attacks on their refrigeration systems. Problems were also noted in Belgium and Luxembourg by Ahold Delhaize, and in Poland, Auchan faced refrigeration failures. The exact cause of these issues remains unclear.
