Zsolt Hegedűs presented the details of the salary increase in healthcare

Zsolt Hegedűs announced a potential 17% net salary increase for healthcare workers next year, alongside a planned personal income tax reduction. This salary adjustment is the most extensive for non-medical roles in healthcare, including nurses, assistants, and administrative staff. A new pay scale will replace the current system, allowing for salary increases typically every three years based on experience. The initiative is part of the Hugonnai Vilma Program, which allocates 510 billion HUF from the 2027 budget for healthcare improvements, including salary raises and enhancements in hospital services. Despite previous emphasis on budget deficit reduction, over 600,000 public sector employees are set to receive salary increases totaling 677 billion HUF.
