Seaplane landed on the Danube at Római-part
A Cessna U206F Stationair seaplane has been landing on the Danube in Budapest, operated by Aeroexpress Seaplanes. This is the only operational seaplane in Central Europe, capable of taking off and landing on water. The company aims to revive water aviation in Hungary through sightseeing flights, test flights, and training. The demand for pilots capable of operating seaplanes may increase due to their potential role in combating destructive wildfires. The seaplane has made several flights recently, primarily within Budapest, including a trip to Győr on November 1.
