Historic locomotives, turntables, and a roundhouse. The Pardubice Region is preparing a new railway museum

A new railway museum is being established in Dolní Lipka, Pardubice Region, showcasing historical locomotives and railway vehicles. The project includes two old turntables and a historical locomotive shed, with a total cost of 280 million CZK, nearly half funded by European grants. The museum will feature a new entrance building and facilities for restoring historical vehicles. Construction of the larger turntable is progressing, while the smaller one requires rebuilding due to damage. The opening date has not yet been announced, but the project is among the largest regional investments in culture and tourism.
