What will the burial sites of Kapelle-op-den Bos look like in the future? That is determined by the residents.

The municipality of Kapelle-op-den Bos plans to make its three cemeteries greener by adding more trees and plants. Residents are invited to share their ideas for the redesign during an information meeting on December 10. The central cemetery will be the first to undergo renovations, featuring a new reception area, a children's section, and improved accessibility for visitors. Additionally, the municipality will construct comfort walls where relatives can place name plaques in memory of their loved ones. The other two cemeteries will also be greened after excavations are completed, with nearly 300 graves marked for removal due to expired concessions.
