Man accused of killing wife to be tried in November

A trial is set to begin in November for a man accused of murdering his partner in a Porto health clinic during a psychotic episode. The first hearing is scheduled for November 26. The accused, deemed unfit for trial, faces charges of homicide and illegal possession of a firearm. Additionally, a GNR military officer is implicated in the case for allegedly selling the weapon used in the crime. The accused reportedly shot his partner four times before attempting to take his own life. Following the incident, the health clinic is reviewing its protocols to address any potential failures.
