Man charged with suspicion of qualified theft

A 22-year-old man has been charged with qualified theft in Ponte de Lima, with stolen goods valued over 50,000 euros recovered by the GNR. The items were taken from a German citizen's home, leading to an investigation after a formal complaint was filed. The suspect, identified as a local resident, stored the stolen items at his girlfriend's house in Bragança. A search operation resulted in the recovery of most stolen goods, including a vehicle and electronic devices. Additionally, a computer sold online was traced back to a buyer in Matosinhos, suspected of receiving stolen property. The suspect has a criminal record and has been reported to the Ponte de Lima Judicial Court.
