Man arrested for sexually abusing two minor nuns

A 47-year-old man was arrested for committing 17 sexual abuse crimes against two minor sisters, aged 9 and 13, in Loures, Lisbon. The incidents reportedly occurred from 2024 until now, within a context of neighborhood trust. The investigation revealed the children's vulnerability due to social issues in their family, with one currently in institutional care. The suspect is also charged with child pornography and used online platforms for sharing exploitative content. Authorities are investigating at least one other potential victim under 15 years old. The suspect has been placed in preventive custody after a court hearing.
