The heating system at the Kecskemét hospital, which has been out of order due to a pipe break, has not been repaired for months.
A heating system failure at the Bács-Kiskun County Teaching Hospital in Kecskemét, caused by a pipe burst in August, remained unresolved until late October. Despite repeated requests from hospital management, repairs were delayed, leaving several operating rooms without adequate heating. The hospital resorted to purchasing oil radiators and other heating devices to cope with the cold. The hospital director expressed frustration over the lack of timely repairs and indicated a potential legal complaint. The National Hospital Directorate reported that maintenance delays were noted, and the heating issue was eventually resolved on October 22.
