Defense luxury villa: The ministry's company spent nearly 650 million on a nearly finished house

A Hungarian defense ministry company spent 650 million HUF on a nearly completed luxury villa, revealing significant overpricing and high labor costs. The construction contracts, obtained after a year of legal battles, showed that the villa was much more expensive than previously thought. The project was signed off by the ministry's CEO, with Ruszin-Szendi Romulusz reportedly not involved in the construction process. After a brief occupancy by Ruszin-Szendi, the villa has remained empty, costing the ministry an average of 370,000 HUF monthly for maintenance.
