Rescue services continue search for missing water sports enthusiast near Scheveningen

Rescue services are continuing their search along the South Holland coast for a watersport enthusiast missing since yesterday afternoon. The search was halted last night due to darkness and dangerous conditions. The missing individual is believed to be a surfer or kitesurfer, reported missing around 2 PM. Search efforts were conducted from land, sea, and air between Kijkduin and Noordwijk, eventually focusing on Scheveningen where the person was last seen. Strong winds and high waves complicated the search, with gusts reaching 80 km/h. Divers are expected to join the search later today, depending on weather conditions.
