HVG: The prosecution has dropped several charges against Péter Pál Juhász in the case of the key witness of the Szőlő street case

The prosecution has dropped several charges against Juhász Péter Pál, the former head of the Szőlő street juvenile institution, related to sexual abuse and child prostitution allegations stemming from the testimony of Bangó Sándor. The decision, dated September 22, indicates that the investigation found no evidence of sexual acts between Bangó and Juhász. Despite this, Juhász still faces other serious charges. Bangó, who became known as a key witness in the case, previously claimed he was abused by Juhász during his time at the institution. The Szőlő street case gained significant media attention after Juhász's arrest last year, with the number of suspects rising to nine by the end of the year.
