I3N and the Department of Portuguese at Peking University win the Jorge Álvares Foundation award

The i3N from Nova University of Lisbon and the Department of Portuguese from Beijing Foreign Studies University won the Jorge Álvares Foundation Award. This award, honoring General Vasco Rocha Vieira, aims to enhance Portugal-China relations through Macau. The i3N has significantly contributed to scientific cooperation, resulting in 78 joint publications since 2024. The Department of Portuguese promotes cultural exchange since 1960, connecting various educational and cultural entities. The award ceremony will take place on December 10, with the 2027 edition focusing on research related to Macau's administration transfer.
