Iata, in calo a settembre (-0,5%) domanda trasporto aereo passeggeri

Global passenger air transport demand fell by 0.5% in September compared to the same month in 2025, influenced by challenges in the Middle East and North America. However, there was an improvement from August, with growth in most international markets. Capacity is expected to remain above 2025 levels, but growth rates are weak and uneven across regions. In contrast, air cargo demand rose by 7.7% in September, driven by global trade and production, particularly in the Pacific region. Despite strong demand, high fuel prices pose profitability challenges for airlines.
