Needles and nails in sweets given to children

In Germany, dangerous objects have been found in sweets across several regions, including Thuringia and Bavaria. A child in Nuremberg discovered a needle in chocolate but was unharmed. In Baden-Württemberg, two cases involved hidden needles, and in Essen, families found needles in chocolate bars and gummy candy. A nine-year-old girl in Bremervoerde injured her tongue on a pin found in chocolate. Investigations are underway, and police urge parents to inspect sweets brought home by children and report any suspicious items.
