II Liga: Penafiel 'strolls' in Faro and climbs to the podium

Penafiel secured a convincing 4-1 victory against Farense in the II Liga, moving up to third place in the standings. Ricardo Schutte scored twice early in the match, followed by goals from Juanda and Clau Mendes. Farense managed to score once through Candeias, but it was not enough to change the outcome. The match took place at Estádio São Luís in Faro, with around 4,000 spectators in attendance. Despite some attempts from Farense to reduce the deficit, they struggled to capitalize on their chances, including a disallowed goal due to offside. This win marks Penafiel's fifth victory of the season, bringing their points total to 16.
