The quantum computer that uses light: the challenge of a startup from Latina with Sapienza
QuantHum Edge, a startup from Latina, is developing a quantum technology based on light trapped on chips, in collaboration with Sapienza University. Their main project, Noesis, utilizes polaritons to create a modular architecture capable of reaching 9,936 qubits. The company aims to improve qubit operations speed and fidelity, with significant throughput increases planned. Additionally, they are working on two other projects: sAIpiens, which focuses on hybrid AI, and L.I.S.A., a proposal for a technopole at a decommissioned nuclear site in Latina.
