On September 30, FlyDubai flight FZ1073 made an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, due to a hijacking attempt by the co-pilot. The incident involved a struggle for control of the aircraft, causing panic among the 170 passengers. Following the event, manipulated videos surfaced online, falsely depicting the situation. One video showed a coastal landscape, misleadingly suggesting it was filmed during the incident, while it actually featured footage from a different flight over the UAE. Additionally, the audio of passengers screaming was from a separate incident in Argentina, not related to FZ1073. The original incident is under investigation, but the circulated video is deemed misleading.
