Inauguration of the Jan Karski Educational Center. Maryja Kalesnikawa as a special guest

The Gabriel Narutowicz Political Thought Institute inaugurated the Jan Karski Educational Center in Warsaw, featuring prominent guests including former Prime Minister Jerzy Buzek and Belarusian opposition leader Maryja Kalesnikawa. Kalesnikawa, who was imprisoned for her activism, emphasized her commitment to her beliefs and the people who trusted her. She shared her experiences of political repression and the importance of solidarity, stating that her fight continues for those still imprisoned. The center will focus on civic education and historical awareness, with plans to publish Karski's reports on the Holocaust.
