Indie: Accused of murder faked his own death. Used AI to avoid sentencing

A man staged his own death using AI to create a fake funeral image, aiming to evade a murder charge and creditors. He even obtained a death certificate. Police arrested him after discovering he had filed documents claiming his death, including funeral photos. This deception was intended to dismiss ongoing murder proceedings against him since 2016. Following the revelation, authorities initiated fraud charges and resumed the murder trial.
