A suspect wanted in the ventilator business wrote a letter to the NAV from Indonesia

Bálint Májer, suspected leader of a criminal organization involved in COVID-related procurement fraud, announced his intention to return to Hungary to face charges. He claims to have been living in Indonesia for four years and has been responsive to previous inquiries from authorities. Following the freezing of his and his wife's bank accounts, he contacted the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) and learned of the international arrest warrant issued against him. NAV recently conducted raids, arresting several individuals linked to the case and seizing assets worth 1.5 billion HUF. Májer is reportedly operating a business in Bali, including a large Ferris wheel.
